PABS Annual Rites of Passage Ceremony - 2021 Virtual
Time & Location
About The Event
Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of Black scholars in the Bellevue School District, the “Rites of Passage” ceremony has been designed to commemorate students’ progression from elementary to middle school, middle school to high school, and high school to college. The “Rites of Passage” ceremony draws from a rich tradition present in nearly every culture to celebrate the community’s enthusiasm and respect in their youth as they mature into adulthood. Rites of passage ceremonies foster in youth a sense of pride in themselves and newfound responsibility to their community. Our event this year will be held on June 4, 2021 at 5:00pm - a link with the meeting information will be sent a week before the event. Please RSVP to ensure you receive the link.
